_The_ record

What one record is not a World's record, but universal?

Farthest journey from home.

Currently held by

Lovell, Haise, and Swigert

248,655 miles, a small record by universal standards, but ours and comparable to any other planet's. This record may be taken by a tourist next.

Apollo 13 raised the average U.S. citizen's altitude by 19 feet, Discovery last week by one third inch. A 20 man mars mission would raise it by 16 miles.

Tourist trip animated as seen at Lunar Soil.
